This notice explains what happens to information when you visit rangeofmotion.us, and the terms under which we offer this website. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
This is not our HIPAA notice
This page covers you as a visitor to this website. It does not cover the health information we hold about you as a patient. That is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices, which describes your rights under HIPAA. If the two ever appear to conflict where your health information is concerned, the Notice of Privacy Practices governs.
What we collect when you visit
This is a plain informational website. We do not run analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels on it. We do not sell or share visitor information, and we do not build profiles of the people who read these pages.
Our web host keeps standard server logs, which record things like the address of the visiting device, the page requested and the time of the request. These are ordinary hosting records used to keep the site running and secure.
Cookies
This site sets only the functional cookies that WordPress and our security certificate need in order to work. There are no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies. Because we do not place non-essential cookies, we do not show a consent banner — there would be nothing meaningful to consent to.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not stop you reading anything on this site.
Information you send us
If you email us, call us, or submit a form, we receive whatever you choose to send. We use it to answer you and to provide your equipment and service, and we keep it in line with our record retention obligations as a Medicare supplier. Please do not send detailed medical information by email. Ordinary email is not a secure channel. Call us at (770) 991-4417 and we will tell you a safer way.
Other companies’ websites
Some links take you off this site, and once you leave, that company’s privacy practices apply instead of ours. The two you are most likely to use:
- Pay Your Bill opens our billing provider’s secure payment portal. We do not process or store card numbers on this website.
- Returns and repair requests are collected through a Google Form. Google sets its own cookies once you are on that page.
We link to manufacturers, Medicare, The Joint Commission and other organisations for your convenience. A link is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for what those sites contain or do.
Children
This website is intended for adults arranging equipment and care. We do not knowingly collect information from children through it.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable measures to protect it and we review them.
Terms of use
This site is general information, not medical advice. Nothing here is a substitute for the judgment of your physician or clinician, and nothing here creates a treatment relationship.
